How to make a word scramble

- Each word’s letters are shuffled into a different order.

Tips for fair puzzles
- Words of 4 to 8 letters work best; very short words have few ways to scramble, long ones get hard fast.
- Include the answer key when players work alone, so they can check themselves.
- Some scrambles can spell more than one word (for example, the letters of “listen” also spell “silent”). Check any word with the word unscrambler, which lists every word the letters make, and accept any real answer.
