How to use the Wordfeud helper

  1. Enter your tiles, using ? for a blank.
  2. Add board letters (optional) to Starts with, Ends with or Contains.
  3. Pick a word. Results are sorted by Wordfeud points, longest words first. Bonus squares add more depending on where you play.

Compared with Scrabble, 6 letters are worth a different amount: B (4 in Wordfeud, 3 in Scrabble), C (4 in Wordfeud, 3 in Scrabble), G (3 in Wordfeud, 2 in Scrabble), J (10 in Wordfeud, 8 in Scrabble), P (4 in Wordfeud, 3 in Scrabble), U (2 in Wordfeud, 1 in Scrabble). Using all seven tiles in one turn earns a 40-point bonus.

Wordfeud tips

  • Check the board layout. Wordfeud lets players use a random board, so the bonus squares may not be where you expect. Look before you place a high-value tile.
  • Short words score well. With L, N and U worth little, the points are in H, Y, W and the 10-point tiles. Two- and three-letter words using them on a bonus square add up fast.
  • Keep an S or a blank for a big turn later rather than spending it on a small play.

Frequently asked questions

Does this use the Wordfeud dictionary?

No. We use the public-domain ENABLE list plus extra dictionary words. The English Wordfeud dictionary is similar but not the same, so a few words may differ.

Can it place words on my Wordfeud board?

Not yet, because Wordfeud boards can be random. For the standard Scrabble layout, try the Scrabble cheat board.

Is this site affiliated with Wordfeud?

No. Wordfeud is a trademark of its owners. This is an independent word tool.
